Alvord Unified School District (AUSD) is headquartered in Riverside, Ca.
Alvord School District was established in 1896 & became a “Unified” District in 1960.
Twelve of the District’s twenty-three schools are scheduled to or have projects underway for improvements and new additions.
The Group B Project consists of a new 3,500 square-foot Library building, alterations and additions to the Administration office, and parking lot improvements at Orrenmaa Elementary School. The Project also included a 3,340 square-foot modernization and extension of the Administration Building as well as upgrades to restrooms and parking lot at Collett Elementary School. Scheduled completion Summer 2017.
Daniels Electric was recently awarded the contract for a new project at Mt. San Antonio College. The project consists of 3 stories totaling 22,846 square feet.
Interior spaces include administrative office space, conference rooms, study areas, and a medical treatment facility. Systems provided include both standard and custom lighting. Low voltage lighting control and specialty systems consisting of: digital assistance/recall, audio visual, nurse call, as well as fire alarm and telecommunications.
Exterior improvements include lighting plus additions to Campus Medium voltage and Telecom backbones.
Daniels Electric was awarded the contract on a new 2-story building totaling 50,475 square feet.
This building provides small and large open offices for RCC administrative staff; conference rooms, large assembly/meeting rooms, testing facilities for individuals to large groups, filing and accounting areas, counseling offices, and large public lobbies. Improvements include specialty lighting and low voltage control. Low voltage systems include: fire alarm, access control, audio visual, and telecommunications.

An addition of two new buildings to an existing school with extension of exciting power and systems backbones.
The library and food service building is a single story totaling 31,245 square feet. The food service portion provides a full service kitchen for the school. The library includes both small and open study areas as well as the expected book storage area.
The second building is a two story science and art classroom building totaling 46,258 square feet. Improvements include standard classrooms, lab spaces, ceramic studio, fine art classroom with state of the art dimming system, as well as broadcasting facilities.
The 50-year-old Perris High School campus is getting a major overhaul that is expected to modernize and transform the 2,500-student campus. Phase 2A includes the construction of a new two story media arts building, a new satellite kitchen, modernization of the existing locker room building, and the associated site work. Phase 2A is expected to be completed in 2017.
