Palm View Elementary School

In the heart of Coachella the Coachella Valley Unified School District is building a brand new elementary school. Palm View Elementary School will be home to about 800 students and will undergo a complete redesign and reconstruction. The school will be opening its doors in August 2020. It will include more structures for shade and air conditioning, a large multipurpose room, increased parking, easier parent pick-up and drop-off zones using a design that maximizes safety. The Electrical Systems have been designed to meet today’s standards of energy management and consumption. One of the more striking design features is the 100-foot long pedestrian bridge that connects the Multi-Purpose/Administration Building to the two-story Classroom Building. The design not only connects the physical environment but is intended to literally bridge students and teachers together in a unique way.
